AbbeyLabels gains Food Labelling accreditation for the 6th year in a row

Abbey Labels has once again been accredited with ‘The Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials’, (BRC).

Francis Milne (sales director) commented that “This was quite a test for us this year as we have introduced a new digital department to our manufacturing process” .
After a lengthy audit, Abbey Labels was awarded ‘High hygiene risk – category A’. This is excellent news for future & existing customers.

Abbey Labels is BRC (British Retail Consortium) registered for food production work. Francis says  “This has been a tremendous help to us in generating business from the food sector. The smaller and more specialised  food producers have been especially keen to use our services: they don’t need millions of labels in most cases – more often they might need a few hundred labels of several different sorts. The BRC accreditation gives them the confidence that there labels are produced in a clean and approved environment.

Francis says “Having the ability to produce BRC approved labels via our new digital manufacturing process has set us apart from the competition , The majority of other digital printers cannot offer the security of producing food labels in a safe and approved environment”.

Abbey Labels can give their clients the confidence that when they are selling into the retail sector they  are doing so with BRC approved labels.
