A Bury St Edmunds business is celebrating 30 years of trading by donating thousands of pounds to support those with life-limiting conditions.
Abbey Labels, based in Lamdin Road, pledged to support a new charity within each quarter of its anniversary year, chosen by staff.
For the first, it has donated £3,500 to St Nicholas Hospice Care, with it donating £1 for every order received between January and March, for a total of 1,700, with funds matched by the company’s wider group.

Tom Allum, chairman of Abbey Labels, said: “As part of Abbey labels Ltd’s 30-year celebrations, staff suggested supporting several charities throughout the year.
“St Nicholas Hospice Care was voted for by staff in recognition of the incredible support they provide to families during some of life’s most difficult moments.
“We are proud to support an organisation that makes such a meaningful difference within our local community.”
Abbey Label’s fund-raising forms part of a wider programme of giving back during its 30th anniversary year.
Lee Graham, corporate fund-raiser for St Nicholas Hospice Care, said the charity was incredibly grateful to Abbey Labels for its support.
He added: “It’s fantastic to see businesses marking milestones by giving back to their community and this generous donation will help us continue to provide care and support to people and families across West Suffolk and Thetford when they need it most.
“Thank you to the whole team for their support.”
